Night school

Ever since I was a child I’ve been drawn to the idea of what used to be referred to as night school. It had an exciting, romantic ring to it, something that regular school never had.

Now I’m free to go. Even if I’ve had a hectic day or I’m dog-tired, I always turn up. I get so much from my classes, missing one feels like a loss. Yes I learn a lot, keep my hand in, get challenged to do things beyond the scope of my illustration and graphic design work, but what I love most is being in a room with other like-minded people, quietly working on something challenging. Blissful.
